The Davis Moon Project
Hush Hush Little Baby proudly supports The Davis Moon Project (DMP), which was co-founded by Haleigh in 2008 during her time as a nanny for a family. Haleigh’s bond with Davis Moon, a boy adopted from Ethiopia, inspired her to establish DMP and remains strong to this day.
Initially, DMP focused on supplying school supplies and books to small orphanages and public libraries, contributing thousands of books. Over time, the initiative has transported over 6,000 books to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Today, DMP has expanded its efforts, establishing a school in rural Ethiopia, specifically in the small town of Arbegona. Initially, the school began with a modest number of students and buildings that were barely functional. However, through dedication and support, the DMP school now accommodates over 2000 students and boasts modern facilities, ample books, and necessary supplies for the children’s education.
